Girl and the Goose is known for its humble beginnings as the first home-grown Nicaraguan underground dining experience in Dubai. As we evolved, our aim is to continously elevate traditional and timeless recipes and bring Central American flavors, culture & stories closer to the Middle East.

Our carefully crafted, intimate space is the perfect environment for you to enjoy a truly unique dining experience that combines elevated home recipes with stories and inspirations from all over the world.

Chef Gabriela

My name is Gabriela, a visionary Nicaraguan chef with a passion for creating unique & intimate contemporary Central American dining experiences. As a storyteller, I take my guests through a sensorial journey using food as my medium amongst a backdrop of warm Latin hospitality.

My own journey began at my grandmother ́s side who was a cook herself. Pots & pans were in my day-to-day life & I knew early on that my calling was to share my heritage as a chef.

At my underground dining, I combine elevated traditional recipes with stories and inspirations that I picked up during my extensive travels across the world.

Initially self- taught, now with a specialization from the CIB, I have been able to fulfill my dream of bringing a piece of my vibrant culture to the table and the world beyond.

I have dedicated the past 4 years to developing, creating & sharing my vision
at my acclaimed Girl & the Goose supperclub table, numerous private events and various kitchen takeovers at Fairmont the Palm, Le Guépard, Radisson Damac Hills, the Waldorf Astoria and BOCA DIFC - amassing over 4000+ guests in the past years across all my events.
